Entries for the 2009/10 Matchplay Championship are now closed but entries for the 2010/11 tournament are now open and we are freezing prices at £40 per pair until the end of February 2010.

It’s been an unprecedented year for entries and we wish all the competitors the very best of luck.

And remember we’ll be there with the Sky Sports production crew at both UK Regional qualifiers. We’ll also be there to welcome 32 finalists to the fabulous Taba Heights Golf Resort, Egypt in May next year where the Sky Sports team will film all the action from the 3-days of competition.

Important Dates:
North Regional Final - 23rd March 2010 - Marriott Hollins Hall
South Regional Final - 14th April 2010 - Marriott St Pierre
Grand Final - May 8th - 15th 2010 - Marriott Taba Heights Beach Resort Egypt

The Matchplay Championship

There are two Matchplay events - MEN'S PAIRS or MIXED PAIRS and entry costs just £40 per pair.

You will also receive a GreenFree 2 for 1 voucher that entitles you to play your matches for half price at over 800 challenging courses throughout the UK & Ireland.

Pairs are drawn against others from their region and designated to play at home or away. Players are notified and given a date by which they must play that round and then inform the organiser of the result.
After the knockout stages and regional finals, the 32 winners go on to play in the Grand Final at the fabulous 5 star Marriott Taba Heights Resort in Egypt.
